Do Something Good Today. Levi's and Dockers Partner with Goodwill to Recycle Clothing

Levis goodwill

I love the holidays. Not to sound cliche, but it truly is the most wonderful time of the year. One of the best things about it is that despite rampant commercialism, it still manages to bring out the best in people. If the holiday spirit is already upon you and you are looking for a way to share your good fortune with the less fortunate, than look no further than Levi's.

The iconic denim brand and it's brother company Dockers has partnered with Goodwill to provide us with a way to donate our used clothing. Sure you can drop those items at the nearest clothing drive, and I wouldn't discourage it, but Levi's is offering an incentive that will make your donation go a lot further.

If you go on Levi' or you can print a free shipping label, affix it to a box and ship at no cost to you. The boxes will be shipped to the nearest participating Goodwill location. In addition, for every box of clothing shipped, Levi's will contribute $5 to Goodwill, up to $50,000, but no less than $25,000 to support job creation programs supported by Goodwill. On December 1st that contribution doubles to $10 for every shipping label printed in support of the Global Day of Giving.

Levi's is no stranger when it comes to being socially responsible. Past programs have included water-saving initiatives and denim made of recycled materials. So if you're looking for a company to get behind ,and give you a great behind (pun totally intended), Levi's is the way to go.
