Gap's has launched a new campaign for the holidays called "Make Love". It has the noble and simple purpose of inspiring people to fill the world with love.
“For a few short weeks during the holidays, we become conscious of what matters most to us.” said Seth Farbman, Gap’s Global Chief Marketing Officer. “Make Love is about giving love through action, whether it’s a service to others or a gift that’s a representation of love.”
The campaign features a wide range of influential artists and activist known for using their talents to make a difference in the world. Icons like Cyndi Lauper and Q-Tip join legends Tony Bennett and Harry Belafonte wearing items from Gap's holiday collection in a series of photos that are rich in the simplicity of the gestures; a laugh with a baby, a hug among friends.
Also included are a series of short films featuring Tony Bennett. One particularly awesome one has a group of students performing his classic "The Best is Yet to Come" (below). It's amazing and quite moving to see the students' admiration of Bennett along with their performance of the song. It really is a must-see #love
In addition to the campaign, for 26 days Gap will be offering holiday gift ideas curated by photographers of the VSCO photo editing app. Take a look at it here.
