LEVI'S Conservation Conversation

Levi's waterless 1Water conservation is a hot topic in denim manufacturing and LEVI'S is spearheading conversation and more importantly taking action. In addition to setting the manufacturing benchmark for future use of water in dyeing and finishing, the denim label is actively dedicated to bringing clean water to those who need it most.

Last Wednesday, LEVI'S hosted a dinner in support of the LEVI'S Water<Less initiative. Actors Joe Manganiello and Adrian Grenier were among those in attendance. Befittingly, famed LA chef Mark Peel cooked a waterless dinner. 

LEVI'S Water<Less jeans reduce water use (up to 96%) in the finishing stage. In comparison, the average pair of jeans uses 42 liters of water. LEVI'S continues to expand with its new collection for SS12. The brand has already made over 13 million Water<Less products, saving more than 172 million liters of water.
